THE ESSENTIALS

  1. What on-mountain activity do you enjoy most? Snowboarding, on bluebird days.
  2. What’s your personal motto or verse? ‘Got to let your soulshine, shine till the break of day’ – Warren Haynes
  3. If you were to host a dinner party and could invite four people, living or in history, who would make the guest list and why? My cousin Brian, who was a 101st Airborne ranger and someone I miss every day. Also, George Dawes Green, creator of the Moth Radio hour; Dave Chapelle and Tina Fey. And I’d pull up a chair for my husband Joel, because he would never believe this happened!
  4. Surprise us: what’s one epic thing that most people don’t know about you: I was a counselor at a camp for troubled teens.
  5. What is your Experience of a Lifetime? It’s so hard to choose one! I will go with ‘first-times’ since we had so many this season at Wilmot- It was an experience of a lifetime to watch a guest’s look of awe as they walked into the lodge at Wilmot for the first time after the renovations; listening to a first time passholder tell you about their trip out west; the pure excitement kids have when asked about their first lesson. I remember the first time I drove through the mountains on I-70 to go snowboarding at Breckenridge and my life was never the same. So, the opportunity to contribute to providing an experience of a lifetime for our guests at Wilmot has been incredible.

OUR VALUES

Drive Value | How do you push yourself to stay on top of your game: Goal-setting and actively learning as much as I can. For example, I joined a local Toastmasters club because developing as a leader is a goal that challenges me to actively step out of my comfort zone, ie public speaking.

Do Good | Describe a meaningful volunteer experience you’ve had in your life: I went on a mission trip to Reynosa, Mexico – one the most impoverished places you could imagine. As a team, we built 3 homes for families in the community. Getting to know them, while building something that would keep their families safe was life changing. Words cannot describe the experience.
